Your Wildlife Trust needs you! Cheshire Wildlife Trust is currently recruiting for up four new Trustees to join its governing board during 2018.

Are you passionate about wildlife? Do you have the vision and the connections to us drive forward our ambition to give wildlife more space to thrive for local people to enjoy and value? Then we need to hear from you!

Cheshire Wildlife Trust is governed by a Board of up to 16 trustees. As board members, trustees hold collective responsibility for the charity’s strategic direction and governance.

Positions are voluntary with a minimum commitment of four meetings per year. Once elected at an AGM, trustees can serve a maximum of two terms of four years and a third term as the Chair of the Board or a committee.

We are currently seeking candidates with skills in one or more of the following areas:
• Governance & leadership
• Conservation/ ecology
• Environmentally friendly farming
• Legal matters
• Health & Safety
• Sales & Marketing
• HR
• the health sector

We are looking for trustees who can bring with them the skills and dedication needed to help us continue to look after local wildlife, and help people care for and connect with nature.
