Food, farming and habitats

Food, farming and habitats

Looking at how the farm is providing food for both people and wildlife during the four seasons. The children will get a chance to cook something seasonal for their lunch.

You can either book a 1/2 day in the morning where we finish for lunch and the children eat the food that they have prepared, or we can add on an afternoon session investigating habitats around the farm, such pond dipping or minibeast hunting in our wildflower meadow. Or why not make your own tailored trip by choosing a suitable option from our other available workshops, including:

Wild maths
Wild weather
Dragonfly workshop
Newt workshop
Creatures of the night
Wild english

Cost: £175 for 1/2 a day, or £250 for a full day

In these challenging times our work will still continue to defend local wildlife
