Dee Estuary c. Paul Steele
This is a rivers and coastal study looking at the changing geomorphology and associated wildlife of a river from a small tributary at Caldy Brook in Chester to the wide open Estuary of the River Dee.
The full day field trip involves fieldwork and observations from a tributary to the Dee estuary. Children will look at the unique features of the stream and river in Chester before travelling to the Wirral to study the estuary at Thurstaston or West Kirby. The afternoon will be spent exploring this coastal environment and learning about its special wildlife and geological features.
Cost:
Full day of activities - £250 for a group of up to 30 children
Half day of activities - £175 for a group of up to 30 children
Larger groups can be accommodated so if you would like to bring more children then please talk to us.
