The Congleton group meets every Tuesday 10am -3pm.

The group helps to conserve and manage nature reserves in the east of Cheshire, focusing on Danes Moss, Bagmere and Swettenham Valley, whilst also helping to restore and protect habitats in the wider landscape.

Tasks vary from week to week and from site to site, changes in the weather and the time of year also play a big part in planning activities. Regular tasks include vegetation control, grassland restoration (including seed collection), path and boardwalk repairs.

No experience is necessary as all equipment and training will be provided. All we ask is that you have a love of the outdoors and drive to get stuck in.

If you would like to help your local wildlife, meet new people and learn some new skills then please get in touch.
