Explore a stunning wildlife-friendly garden this summer in support of Cheshire Wildlife Trust

Gardening enthusiasts and wildlife lovers can look forward to explore the garden at Rowley House, in Kermincham, Holmes Chapel on Monday 29th May.

Owners Tim and Juliet are generously opening their impressive garden to raise funds for Cheshire Wildlife Trust.  

There is much to see at Rowley House. The garden boasts an impressive collection of trees, a formal courtyard garden, a glorious wildflower meadow that is great for pollinating insects and several old marl pits which are home to dragonflies and damselflies. There are also wood sculptures which were created by Knutsford based sculptor Andy Burgess.

“This beautiful and extensive wildlife-friendly garden is a real treat for gardeners and is sure to provide inspiration for anyone wanting to make their garden better for wildlife. We love hearing how people have made changes to their own gardens following their visit to Rowley House. We’d like to say a big thank you to Tim and Juliet for once again supporting the Trust,” said Jo Darlington, Director of Fundraising and Engagement at Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

The garden is truly designed with wildlife at the heart of its design. A visit to Rowley House is sure to provide lots of inspiration for keen gardeners and even those looking for ideas on how to turn even their smallest outdoor space into a home for wildlife. The garden is close to Cheshire Wildlife Trust Nature Reserves Swettenham Valley making it a perfect summer’s day out with the family.

The Rowley House garden is open on Monday 29th May 2023 from 11am – 4.30pm. There is plenty of seating around the garden to take a rest and enjoy the view. There are also toilets available for visitors.

Refreshments will be available, sold in aid of St Peter’s Parish Church. 

It is based at Rowley House, Forty Acre Lane, Kermincham, Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, CW4 8DX. Parking is available on site. Tickets are available on the day. Entrance £5 on the gate, under 16s are free.

All proceeds from the entrance fee will go directly to supporting the work of Cheshire Wildlife Trust and refreshment sales will support St. Peter’s Church.
