Protect local wildlife for less this year.

Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering new members the chance to join at half-price, from as little as £1.50 a month – saving money... and the planet!

The start of a new year is a perfect time to start a brand-new resolution to do more for the planet. However, thinking about the natural world can be overtaken by concerns about rising bills and the cost of living. That’s why Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering new members the chance to join at half-price, from as little as £1.50 a month – saving money... and the planet!

The Trust is the region’s leading conservation charity, working for wildlife across Cheshire, Halton, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington and Wirral. As one of the 46 Wildlife Trusts across the UK, they’ve been fighting for wildlife for over 60 years. Much of its work depends on members of the public who donate a small amount each month or annually to help protect local wildlife and the wild places they enjoy. The Trust works in partnership with landowners and local communities to support everyone to take action for our natural world and protect special outdoor places.

Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s 17,500 members help them to:

  • Plant woodlands at sites such as Saltersford Farm, near Holmes Chapel.
  • Create meadows in community spaces.
  • Restore broken rivers such as the Gowy, the Dee and the Dane.
  • Protect carbon-storing peatlands such as Danes Moss.
  • Protect coastlines and marine habitats along the Dee and Mersey estuaries and Irish Sea.
  • Provide food and shelter for local plants and animals at our nature reserves and in communities.
  • Rewild local towns and cities such as Warrington, Stockport and Crewe.
  • Campaign for a better future for nature and wildlife.

The UK is officially one of the most nature-depleted countries on Earth. However, it’s not too late. By joining Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s mission for nature's recovery, you will make a real difference to local wildlife and our natural world. It's hard to imagine a future without nature we depend on and the wildlife we've grown up with and love.

Sir David Attenborough, President Emeritus of The Wildlife Trusts says

“I’ve supported The Wildlife Trusts for the last fifty-five years. They’re at the heart of our national life, healing the natural world and bringing us closer to it, making wildlife accessible to those who have least.

The Wildlife Trusts combine local action, with national impact, as part of a global vision for nature’s recovery. They are bringing wildlife back and restoring the natural world we love so much. Please support them as much as you can.”

Support today from just £1.50 a month and protect local wildlife, for less.
