What do I win?
There can only be 12 winners and each of these wins a full page A4 position in our calendar as well as a copy of the calendar. The overall winner will see their photo on the front cover of the calendar and will also feature in Your WildLife magazine.
12 runner up photos will be featured throughout the calendar. All winners and runners up will receive a free copy of the calendar. Their photographs will feature in our weekly e-newsletter and on Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s website and social media. Keep up to date with us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
How do I enter?
To enter, please fill in this form and upload your photograph(s). There is a maximum of three photos per photographer.

Image size: Images should be landscape and MUST be 300dpi, 12"x8" (A4) jpeg images. Images not submitted at this size cannot be considered.

How do I find out if I've won?
All winners and runners up will be contacted directly. All of the winning photographs and the names of the photographer, including the runners up, will be posted on the website in August. To ensure you don't miss the announcement, you can sign-up to receive our e-newsletter here.
Terms and Conditions
- Closing date for all entries is Sunday 31st May 2026.
- Images must be accompanied by an entry form where the entrant signs to agree to their use by Cheshire Wildlife Trust as described. Photographers will always be credited.
- Images must be landscape and be 300dpi, 12"x8" (A4) jpg images.
- Images not submitted as landscape and not at this size cannot be considered.
- Images must have been taken in the wild in Cheshire and locations specified when submitting (covers Cheshire, Warrington, Wirral, Halton, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford). We do not accept photos taken outside these areas, of pets or from Chester Zoo.
- A maximum of three images per person can be entered into the competition.
- Judges will be looking for 'natural' photos, so entrants should avoid too much post-processing and the use of post-camera effects.
- Winners and runners up will receive one FREE copy of the 2027 calendar and will be announced on our social media channels as well as in our weekly e-newsletter, Wild Cheshire.
Don’t forget
Welfare of the subject is top priority. Please don’t stress a subject just for a photo; the wildlife is more important than the image.
Make sure you stay on paths or within designated areas.
