About the event
The day will begin with our Annual General Meeting (AGM). After the formalities, we’ll update you on the incredible work you’ve helped make possible this year and you’ll hear from those working hard to protect
nature in our region.

At a time when housing targets are growing and planning laws are changing, our fight to defend nature has never been more important. We’ll share what we’ve been doing to protect wildlife havens. And, we’ve invited several speakers to share their stories and demonstrate how local action can protect wildlife and bring people together to celebrate nature.
After our event finishes at 1pm, you’ll be able to enjoy Ness Botanic Gardens for free the rest of the day. Spread across 64 acres, featuring a diverse variety of plants, vibrant year-round colour and breathtaking landscapes, this is an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in nature. With a café and plant and gift shop too, you certainly won’t be short on things to see and do.
