Chris Packham
Thurs 29 March 2012
For a generation, Chris was the spiky-haired host of the BBC’s Really Wild Show and has recently found himself back with Really Wild host Michaela Strachan on the Autumnwatch sofa, where he’s renowned for presenting his famous ‘Geek’ awards and an often unnatural fascination for wildlife droppings.
An accomplished filmmaker, photographer and author, Chris’s passion as a naturalist is evident in all of his work, and his ability to bring conservation messages to new audiences have been recognised by some of the UK’s leading wildlife charities in a string of awards. He is also a Vice-president of the Wildlife Trusts.
Chris’s irreverent sense of humour and many years in broadcasting and wildlife-watching will make for a fun and fascinating evening on Thursday 29 March at Chester Racecourse, 7:30pm.
Simon King OBE
Friday 21 Sep 2012
Natural history filmmaker, author, broadcaster and master of live television from windswept Scottish locations, Simon is familiar to most of us through his work on Springwatch and Big Cat Diary . A passionate conservationist, Simon was welcomed as the Wildlife Trusts latest UK President in 2011.
At the top of award-winning wildlife documentary making for over 25 years, Simon has been behind the lens on some of the most popular BBC wildlife films including capturing footage around the world for a number of Sir David Attenborough's groundbreaking series.
An engaging and charismatic speaker, we look forward to an inspiring evening with Simon on Friday 21 September in Manchester (venue to be confirmed) .

Iolo Williams
Tuesday 27 Nov 2012
The RSPB’s Species Officer for Wales for over 10 years, Iolo was at the forefront of the recovery of the red kite, and closely followed the changing fortunes of black grouse and choughs. His work brought him to our screens in one of the first ‘fly-on-the-wall’ shows as TV cameras followed his work and family life in the BBC’s Birdman.
Iolo has fronted a number of television shows both in his native Wales and throughout the UK, including guest appearances on Springwatch and Autumnwatch. His work with a number of local Welsh charities means that Iolo still keeps conservation and communities close to his heart, and he remains a firm favourite with audiences of all ages.
You can join Iolo later this year on Tuesday 27 November at Eaton Hall, Chester.
