Create wilder neighbourhoods and communities

Create wilder neighbourhoods and communities

We have reached a tipping point. By 2030, we must see nature recovering and for this to happen, we need 30% of our land and sea to be protected, connected and managed for nature. As community groups you play an enormous role in this. Whether you’re part of an existing community group, or want to set up one in your local area, we have lots of resources and guides to support you.  Any positive action is a giant step on the path to a wilder Cheshire.

Let's bring wildlife back together.

Be inspired

You are not alone! We already work with a number of community groups who are making a difference to wildlife in their local areas, from planting community orchards and rewilding urban alleyways to adopting and improving wasted spaces, Our interactive map allows you to see what projects other groups are working on and to add yours. Together we can reach our target of 30% of land and sea.
