Biodiversity Action Plans (BAP) are part of a national and international programme of actions outlining the activity needed to protect the region's most important and at-risk wildlife

Now termed 'priority' species and habitats, the list is formed from information on the rapid decline and loss of nature on our doorstep.

Working in partnership, conservation actions can be coordinated and delivered to safeguard the future of the Cheshire region's wildlife.

UK BAP Review 2007

In 2007 there was a review of the UK BAP which extended the list of UK BAP species. Click here for the full list of UK BAP species.
