This summer, the Trust are inviting the public to explore three beautiful wildlife-friendly spaces. The gardens are designed with wildlife at the heart of their design. They can provide lots of inspiration for gardeners as well as a lovely day out with the family.

Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s Wild About Gardens team will be on hand with lots of gardening tips and advice and aim to inspire people to turn even their smallest outdoor space into a home for wildlife.

The gardens include:

  • Rowley House, Kermincham, near Holmes Chapel

Sunday 5th June. 11am – 4.30pm

This beautiful garden includes rare trees, ponds, wildflower meadows and a woodland walk. It also features impressive wood sculptures by Andy Burgess and is featured in the RSPB’s spring/summer magazine Nature’s Home. Refreshments will be available. Tickets £5 for adults, entry for children is free.

  • Clemley House, Tarporley

Sunday 3rd July, 1pm – 5pm

Nestled in the heart of Cheshire, this award-winning cottage garden features an orchard and a delightful wildflower meadow. New this year is a small newly planted birch wood as well as a small pond area that has been allowed to go wild with stunning results. Refreshments will be available. Tickets £6 for adults, entry for children is free.

  • Ashton Grange, Ashton Hayes

Sunday 17th July, 12pm – 4pm

Visitors are welcome to wander around nearly 20 acres of meadows, woodland and garden. There are stunning tree carvings around the garden as well as stone and willow sculptures. There will also be a plant stall on the day. Refreshments will be available. Tickets £6 for adults, entry for children is free.

All proceeds from the events will support Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s work to bring wildlife back to the county.
