Collect at a funeral or memorial

Collecting donations at a funeral can help Cheshire Wildlife Trust make a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by asking for donations instead of flowers. You could also hold a collection at a celebration of life service or memorial event.
Just let your funeral directors know you would like to collect donations for Cheshire Wildlife Trust and they can arrange for the collection cheque made payable to Cheshire Wildlife Trust to be sent to us.

If you have any questions, you or your funeral director can contact Jo Darlington on 01948 820728 or email jdarlington@cheshirewt.org.uk

Make a donation in memory

Making a donation in memory is a touching way of remembering the life of a person that was special to you and the things that were important to them. A donation in memory could be made to celebrate that person's birthday or anniversary or as a tribute to their life. The memory of your loved one will live on in our work to look after local wildlife and wild places for everybody to enjoy.

In memory leaf

In memory leaves

Celebrate the life of a loved one or a special occasion with a special oak or birch leaf, made from brass.  Gifts of £200 or more can be acknowledged with a memory leaf.
A personalised message of your choice will be inscribed on your chosen leaf which can then be sent to you or placed at one of the following reserves:

  • Bickley Hall Farm, near Malpas
  • Trentabank Reservoir, Macclesfield Forest

The leaves will be displayed on the nature reserves for a minimum of ten years for you and others to visit.  Each leaf is approximately 14.5cm long by 10cm wide and will be displayed on special posts or walkways.

To discuss your requirements,  please contact Hannah McGonagle on hmcgonagle@cheshirewt.org.uk
