Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering new members the chance to join at half-price throughout January from as little as £1.50 a month.
The Trust is the region’s leading conservation charity working for wildlife across Cheshire, Halton, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington and Wirral. It is the largest voluntary organisation working to bring wildlife back across the Cheshire region and help see 30% of the UK’s land and sea connected and protected for nature by 2030.
Cheshire Wildlife Trust receives no government funding. Much of its work depends on members of the public who donate a small amount each month or year to help protect local wildlife and the wild places you enjoy. It's hard to imagine a future without nature we depend on and the wildlife we've grown up with and love.
Last year Cheshire Wildlife Trusts’ 17,500 members helped bring wildlife back by supporting work such as:
- Creating 94 wildlife ponds
- Planting 720 metres of hedgerow
- Reseeding 11.2 hectares of meadow
- Planting 38 hectares of carbon storing woodland.
- Inspiring connection and a love of the natural world to nearly 53,000 others around the region.
The UK is officially one of the most nature depleted countries on Earth. However it’s not too late. By joining the Wildlife Trust’s mission for nature's recovery, you will make a real difference to local wildlife and our natural world.
